A Reflection on Gratitude
I’ve been reflecting on how I got to lead the life I have today, and one thing stands out: the unshakable support I’ve received from my family. I want to share my sincere gratitude for the three incredible people who have shaped my life: my mother, father, and sister.
My Mother, Shikha Singhal
She lives selflessly, always putting my well-being first. Through every challenge, for example, my early struggles as a startup founder or having to start over during COVID-19, she has been my steady guide. She taught me the importance of staying content with what I have and staying calm under pressure. Beyond taking care of us, she extends the same support to anyone in need, often going beyond her own comfort to help others.
My Father, Rakesh Kumar Singhal
He’s a self-made man - though he might not admit it. Like many in his generation, he has tirelessly devoted himself to work and family, never showing the slightest sign of weariness. His integrity sets a high bar. He has always encouraged me to follow my passion and has never hesitated to support me. Even now, he continues working, guiding others, and expanding his own knowledge. He rarely thinks of himself, focusing on what he can do for others instead.
My Sister, Arushi Singhal
She’s been my spark of joy whenever I’ve doubted myself. In every new endeavor, she has been my biggest cheerleader, and her unwavering faith has pushed me through countless moments of uncertainty.
I stand on the shoulders of these wonderful people, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support and sacrifices my family has made for me.
And beyond my family, there have been countless friends and colleagues who have guided and supported me over the years - I’m eternally grateful to all of them. I’ll share more about that in another post.
Giving Back
In the spirit of gratitude, I’m opening up four 30-minute slots each week for anyone who might want to discuss or brainstorm ideas. Whether you need to talk about ideation, product management, development, growth, business development, or customer success - feel free to book my calendar. I hope, in some small way, I can pay forward the generosity that has been shown to me.
Thank you for reading and for being part of my journey. I hope to be part of yours as well.
